Success may be closer than you think, but to get to the next level will require a paradigm shift. Our clients typically get to places they literally could not conceive of when they were operating from their old models of reality. Real transformation is not only possible but probable when you start making hidden beliefs and contracts visible and when you re-solve old conflicts to create alignment.
Managing a Change
Oftentimes people, when they first bump into the need to change, think that if they just have a little will power, if they just work harder (or have their employees work harder), if they just implement the latest and greatest technique … that they will get to that next level. The reality is that the diet, will power attempt, working hard at the technique, organizational restructure … seems to not only fail, but lock in struggle and resistance to change. There is back lash. People can consciously “be good” for only so long before they don’t want to have to remember to be different anymore and the old pattern reasserts itself with a new resistance to change, kind of like an anti-biotic resistant strain of bacteria.
For real change to happen, one must first dig deep and understand the “intended positive outcome”, i.e. the reason the pattern exists in the first place. When all parts of the system, be it the different parts of one human or the different humans in an organization, can understand and appreciate what currently exists (the good, the bad, and the ugly), then and only then can there be a way to re-solve. Then and only then can we transform ourselves without having to struggle to remember to be different. Then and only then is it time to plan and implement a new course of action that will take us to whatever our definition of success is, or has become.
